The Dallas Mavericks have re-signed veteran forward Markieff Morris for the 2023-24 NBA season. While he averaged just 2.5 points in limited minutes last season, his leadership is valued for guiding younger players. Morris originally joined the Mavericks in the trade for star guard Kyrie Irving. Throughout his career, he has played 776 regular-season games and was part of the Lakers' championship run in 2020. Terms of the new deal have not been disclosed.
