Sayeedmukarram Abduqodirzoda, the Chief Mufti of Tajikistan, was injured in a stabbing incident outside a mosque in Dushanbe after a prayer service. The attacker, described as having "hooligan motives," has been detained, and a criminal investigation is underway. Abduqodirzoda, who heads the Islamic Council of Ulema, sustained minor injuries and was released from the hospital following treatment.
