A fatal crash occurred on Highway 138E near Glide, Oregon, on September 9, when 38-year-old Thomas Lee Bailey's motorcycle collided head-on with a Jeep Cherokee driven by 66-year-old Randolph Lee Belloir. The Jeep turned left in front of Bailey, resulting in the accident. Bailey died, while Belloir was uninjured and cooperated with investigators.
