Small explosion at Kansas State Fair concession trailer injures two, examines State Fire Marshals.

On September 10, a small explosion at a concession trailer during the Kansas State Fair in Hutchinson resulted in two people being hospitalized and several others suffering minor injuries. The Hutchinson Fire Department responded around 6:28 p.m., discovering shattered glass and evidence of the explosion. The Hutchinson Fire Marshal and State Fire Marshals are investigating the incident. The fair, which draws around 350,000 attendees, runs until September 15.
