Rivers State Governor Siminalayi Fubara called on traditional rulers to act as impartial leaders and not to misuse their positions against opponents. He encouraged them to foster harmony and development within their communities and collaborate with the state government for peace. Fubara made these remarks while presenting certificates and staff of office to two new first-class traditional rulers in Port Harcourt.
