32 police officers secure 200 villages in Katsina State, governor calls for community self-defense.

Katsina State Governor Dikko Radda disclosed that just 32 police officers are assigned to secure a local government area that includes 200 villages. With only nine firearms, five of which are operational, Radda deems the police presence insufficient. In response to escalating violence, including the murder of local security leaders, he is urging community self-defense initiatives and offering training and support to those willing to participate.
