Myanmar authorities seized over one ton of methamphetamine, or ICE, in Shan state on September 7. Following a tip-off, police searched a vehicle in Kengtung township, arresting a suspect linked to the drug transport valued at approximately $3.98 million. The drugs were en route to Monghpyak township. The suspect faces charges under local laws, and investigations continue.
