2 Muskogee officers cleared of charges in August self-defense shooting involving suspect with outstanding warrant.

The Muskogee County District Attorney announced that two officers will not face charges for a shooting during an August traffic stop. The officers acted in self-defense when suspect Jordan Pierce, armed and with an outstanding warrant, pulled a gun after being asked to exit the vehicle. Pierce was shot in the finger and later arrested, facing multiple charges including pointing a gun at an officer. Body camera footage was released in late August.
