Manitowoc Public School District appoints Lee Thennes as Interim Superintendent, replacing James Feil.
The Manitowoc Public School District has appointed Lee Thennes as Interim Superintendent following the resignation of James Feil on August 22. Thennes, a former Lincoln High School principal and teacher with nearly 20 years of experience in the district, will serve until June 30, 2025, while the Board of Education searches for a permanent replacement. His appointment is pending contract approval. Board member Keith Shaw commended Thennes' leadership qualities.
