Green Bay opens 43-unit affordable housing complex with 36 units for low-income households.

Green Bay, Wisconsin, has celebrated the opening of the City East Center and Apartments, a new affordable housing complex with 43 units, 36 of which cater to households earning 60% or less of the area's median income. The project includes a community space for Brown County United Way and other nonprofits. Funded partly by federal and state resources, the initiative aims to address the city's affordable housing shortage, with hopes for more developments statewide.
