EssilorLuxottica, an Italian-French eyewear company, has reportedly acquired two factories in Romania, enhancing its local production capabilities. Alongside these acquisitions, the company has also purchased OPTIBlu and Optiplaza retail stores, aiming to create an integrated business within the Romanian optical market. This strategic move is designed to strengthen its presence and foster partnerships with local firms, with an estimated business value exceeding 320 million RON (64 million EUR).
