Essential resurfacing work on A8 and M74/M77 westbound carriageways leads to road closures, diversions, and lane restrictions from September 11-26.
Transport Scotland, through contractor Amey, is conducting essential resurfacing work on the westbound A8 in Port Glasgow from 8 PM on September 11 to 6 AM on September 12, leading to road closures and diversions. Additionally, from September 16 to 26, resurfacing will occur on the M74 and M77 westbound carriageways, with overnight closures and lane restrictions. Motorists should expect diversions during these projects. Emergency services access will remain intact.
