Dublin Zoo's elephant herd recovers from EEHV outbreak, two deaths; Asha and Samiya fully recover.

Dublin Zoo's elephant herd has been declared healthy after recovering from an outbreak of Elephant Endotheliotropic Herpesvirus (EEHV) that resulted in the deaths of two young elephants, Avani and Zinda. The zoo confirmed that the other infected elephants, Asha and Samiya, have fully recovered. The zoo collaborated with experts and received support from Chester Zoo and the public, aiming to help develop effective treatments for EEHV.
