Liu Yuejin and Li Xiangang have been expelled from the Communist Party of China (CPC) following investigations by the CPC's anti-corruption bodies. Liu faced allegations of disloyalty, power-for-money deals, and accepting illicit gifts, while Li was charged with serious violations of Party discipline, including embezzlement and improper conduct in job promotions. Both cases will be forwarded to legal authorities for prosecution, and their illicit gains will be confiscated.
