On August 29, a 49-year-old woman sleeping in her vehicle near Victoria Golf Club became upset while a landscaper trimmed hedges, leading her to slap him. Police arrested her for assault after she returned to the scene. She is set to appear in provincial court on October 16. The incident took place in the parking lot at 1110 Beach Dr.
