7-year-old missing boy in La Pine found safe after community alert and search assistance.
A 7-year-old boy, initially reported missing in La Pine, Deschutes County, was found safe and reunited with his family after a community alert was issued. The Deschutes County Sheriff's Office received a report around 5 p.m. and issued a Deschutes Alert shortly after. The boy, last seen riding a red mountain bike, was located by 6:35 p.m. The sheriff's office expressed gratitude for the community's quick response in the search effort.
