Siemens Mobility will build a high-speed train manufacturing facility in Horseheads, New York, creating approximately 300 jobs. The $60 million factory will produce the American Pioneer 220 trains for the $12 billion Las Vegas-Los Angeles rail line, expected to be operational by 2028, ahead of the Summer Olympics. These trains will travel up to 220 mph, reducing the journey time from four hours by car to just over two. Production begins in 2026.
