Couple from Co Antrim on trial for allegedly inflicting severe injuries on young child.

A couple from Co Antrim, Amanda and Christopher Fulton, is on trial for allegedly inflicting severe injuries on a young child, who was near death. Medical examinations revealed multiple serious injuries, including a fractured skull, brain and retinal bleeding, a liver laceration, and nearly 30 rib fractures. The prosecution contends that one or both defendants are responsible, while the couple has not explained the injuries. The trial is currently ongoing.
