C&C Group reports in-line earnings with €17M accounting error, restructures distribution deals with AB InBev.

C&C Group, maker of Tennent's and Magners, reported first-half earnings in line with expectations, forecasting an underlying operating profit of €39-41 million despite a 3% revenue decline. The company admitted to €17 million in accounting errors and is restructuring its distribution agreements with Anheuser-Busch InBev. C&C will regain control of its cider portfolio in Great Britain from January 2025, while AB InBev will manage beer distribution in Ireland.
