Cambodian PM Hun Sen urges exporters to leverage FTAs with China, SKorea, UAE, and RCEP to boost trade and reach upper-middle-income status.

Cambodian Prime Minister Hun Sen urged exporters to leverage free trade agreements (FTAs) to enhance trade benefits, particularly with China, South Korea, and the UAE, as well as through the Regional Comprehensive Economic Partnership (RCEP). Cambodia's trade volume surged to $36.48 billion in early 2024, driven by these agreements. The focus on quality and supply chain stability aims to bolster Cambodia's reputation and support its goal of achieving upper-middle-income status by 2030.
