Paul Marshall, a 70-year-old Belfast resident, died following a pedestrian-vehicle collision on September 2 at the Millfield junction. A 34-year-old man, John Taggart, allegedly struck him while driving a van nearly three times over the legal alcohol limit. Taggart faces charges for causing grievous bodily injury by careless driving and driving under the influence. Police are investigating and seeking witnesses.
