Ian H. Dodge, a 44-year-old man from Sheffield, Alabama, died in a boating accident on Pickwick Lake near Little Bear Creek. His personal watercraft struck a log around 7 p.m. on Sunday, ejecting him onto the shore where he was pronounced dead. The Alabama Law Enforcement Agency's Marine Patrol Division is investigating the incident. Further details have not been released.
