This decrease, following a previous 7.7% rise, was driven by reduced demand in sectors like education, food services, and public administration. Additionally, the number of benefit recipients fell by 0.4% to 625,000, and total benefit payouts decreased by 2.2% to 1.03 trillion won (about $768 million).
