QatarEnergy signs with CSSC for six additional LNG vessels, expanding capacity by 2030.

QatarEnergy has signed a deal with China State Shipbuilding Corporation (CSSC) for six additional QC-Max LNG vessels, raising its total order to 128 ships, including 24 QC-Max vessels. Each ship, with a capacity of 271,000 cubic meters, will be built at Hudong-Zhonghua Shipyard and delivered between 2028 and 2031. This expansion supports QatarEnergy's goal to increase liquefaction capacity from 77 million to 142 million tons per year by 2030.
