Niti Aayog, India's policy think tank, is seeking expressions of interest to research the India Innovation Index. This index aims to encourage states and Union Territories to assess and enhance their innovation ecosystems, thus improving India's overall innovation performance. It categorizes innovation into "Enablers" (e.g., human capital, investment) and "Performance" (knowledge output, diffusion). The research is expected to last six months post-contract award.
