A fatal fire at a trailer home on Sawyer Road in Carlton, Orleans County, early Monday morning has prompted an investigation by the Sheriff's Office. Firefighters arrived around 3:40 a.m. to find the trailer, two sheds, and two vehicles fully engulfed in flames. A body was discovered inside and has been sent to the Monroe County Medical Examiner's Office. The cause of the fire is under investigation, and information can be reported to (585) 589-5527.
