Dubai's Crown Prince enacts new healthcare regulation mandating permits from Dubai Health Authority.
Dubai's Crown Prince, Sheikh Hamdan, has enacted Executive Council Resolution No. (49) of 2024 to regulate healthcare activities in the emirate. This resolution mandates that all healthcare providers obtain a permit from the Dubai Health Authority (DHA), which oversees licensing, compliance, and quality standards. The DHA can also handle complaints and impose penalties. This new regulation, effective in 60 days, replaces the previous Resolution No. (32) of 2012.
