Stephen Ford, 72, has been charged with second-degree murder in connection with the 1996 stabbing death of his girlfriend, Doris A. Korell, in Florida. Korell was found stabbed 83 times in a ditch after being reported missing. The case went cold until 2017, when new evidence prompted an investigation. Witnesses indicated Korell feared Ford, and his own past statements are now under scrutiny. Ford was arrested in Delaware and extradited to Florida.
