Jamar Emmanuel Jenifer, 34, was fatally shot in an alley in Silver Spring, Maryland, on Monday morning. Police found no suspects initially but have since arrested 33-year-old Jeriel Demitri Martin, who is charged with first-degree murder and using a firearm in a violent crime. Evidence linking Martin to the murder was discovered during a search of his home. He is currently being held without bond.
