Villanova's fifth-ranked FCS football team secured a 28-3 victory over Colgate. Quarterback Connor Watkins contributed significantly, throwing two touchdown passes to Devin Smith and rushing for another score. The Wildcats led 7-3 at halftime and expanded their advantage in the fourth quarter. Watkins completed 18 of 28 passes for 247 yards, while Smith recorded six catches for 116 yards. Colgate's Michael Brescia passed for 140 yards and led in rushing with 57 yards.
