Dubbo CYMS clinched their third consecutive reserve grade title with an 18-10 victory over Mudgee Dragons on September 8. The win honored former player Scott Macleod, who died in a workplace accident earlier this year. Captain-coach Craig McLean announced his retirement post-match and praised the team’s defense, as well as player of the match Jake Reichelt. Mudgee's coach acknowledged their execution issues despite strong community support.
