Kalamazoo police arrested a 34-year-old man on September 6 during a drug investigation. Initially encountered on Portage Street, he resisted arrest and discarded drugs. A subsequent search of his home on Hotop Avenue yielded crack and powdered cocaine, a loaded firearm, drug manufacturing equipment, and cash believed to be from drug sales. He faces multiple felony charges and is currently held at the Kalamazoo County Jail.
