1-year-old dies, four injured in car crash in south Charlotte; investigation ongoing.
A tragic car crash in south Charlotte on Saturday resulted in the death of a child and injuries to four others. The collision occurred around noon on Sharon View Road near Chadwick Place. Two individuals sustained life-threatening injuries, while three others were seriously hurt. Authorities closed the road for several hours during the investigation. The Charlotte-Mecklenburg Police Department is looking into the cause of the accident.
