Two staff members at Progress Village Middle School in Tampa have been arrested for their involvement in a child abuse case. Teacher Bennie Leverett placed a student in a chokehold, while Vice-principal Tashiska Fabian failed to report the incident and instructed a student to delete video evidence. Leverett was arrested on March 14, and Fabian on April 21, facing felony charges. Sheriff Chad Chronister condemned their actions as a betrayal of community trust.
