NASA astronauts Butch Wilmore and Suni Williams remain aboard the International Space Station (ISS) after Boeing's Starliner capsule returned without them due to technical issues. Originally scheduled for a brief test flight, their mission will now extend to over eight months as they wait for a SpaceX vehicle to return them in late February. Both astronauts are experienced test pilots, each having completed multiple long-duration space missions.
