Issued by the Department of Pharmaceuticals, the code bans overseas workshops for healthcare professionals, prohibits gifts, and requires disclosure of evaluation sample distributions and conference expenses. Companies must not promote devices before regulatory approval and must upload the code on their websites along with complaint procedures.
