Ke'Erinie King, a 22-year-old mother from Memphis, has been charged with child abuse, neglect, and other offenses after her 6-year-old son was found with a loaded, stolen gun at Geeter K-8 School. The child was reportedly passing the weapon to classmates before it was discovered in his backpack. King admitted ownership of the gun and was arrested; no injuries occurred during the incident. She has been released and is scheduled to appear in court.
