Pang Yu Heng, a 27-year-old former wealth planning manager at DBS Bank, has been charged with defrauding four clients of S$348,000 by promoting fake fixed deposit products with high interest rates. He attempted to deceive two additional individuals for S$240,000. Pang faces four counts of cheating and two of attempted cheating, each carrying a potential 10-year prison sentence. DBS has terminated his employment and is assisting affected clients.
