Alexander Warren, 35, has been arrested and charged with second-degree murder for the fatal shooting of 36-year-old Jessie Lavell Marks Sr. in Portland's North Tabor neighborhood on May 24, 2023. Warren was apprehended on August 29 in Southeast Portland and is also charged with being a felon in possession of a firearm. He is currently held at the Multnomah County Detention Center.
