2014 murder conviction of Eddie L. Williams overturned due to procedural issues; retrial planned.
Eddie L. Williams, convicted of first-degree murder and other crimes in a 2014 homicide, will be retried after a federal court overturned his conviction due to procedural issues deemed prejudicial. Initially sentenced to life without parole in 2015, Williams’ case involved a robbery plot against a drug dealer. Lebanon County District Attorney Pier Hess Graf plans to pursue the conviction again during the upcoming retrial.
