Keke Palmer will star in and executive produce a new series adaptation of the 1989 film "The Burbs" on Peacock. The contemporary reimagining, written by Celeste Hughey, follows a couple returning to the husband's childhood home, where new neighbors reveal hidden secrets and threats. The series will film at Universal Studios Hollywood's backlot, and is produced by Brian Grazer and Seth MacFarlane. A release date has not yet been announced.
