A 56-year-old woman succumbed to injuries on September 3 from a motorcycle accident that occurred on August 8 near Newell, South Dakota. While riding southbound on SD Highway 79, her 2001 Harley Davidson veered off the road, hitting a delineator pole. She was transported to a Rapid City hospital with severe injuries. The South Dakota Highway Patrol is currently investigating the crash.
