Patricia Sierra, a 47-year-old woman from Las Vegas, was arrested for allegedly stealing a casket containing a body from a funeral home on August 27. Surveillance footage captured her breaking in, taking the casket, and leaving the remains outside. Sierra, who admitted to a substance abuse problem and claimed to have "blacked out," is charged with grand larceny, burglary, and disturbing human remains, with a preliminary hearing set for September 18. Her bail is $11,000.
