Valerie Renea White, a 32-year-old animal control employee in South Carolina, was arrested for engaging in sexual relations with an inmate she supervised at the Union County Animal Control shelter. The South Carolina Law Enforcement Division charged her with misconduct in office, criminal conspiracy, and first-degree sexual misconduct. Additionally, she allegedly provided the inmate with a contraband phone to facilitate their relationship. White is currently detained.
