The U.S. Department of Transportation has allocated over $32 million to Arkansas for road safety improvements as part of a $1 billion national initiative under the Bipartisan Infrastructure Law. Funds will benefit nine communities, including $25 million for Little Rock’s Safe Streets for All project and $5.19 million for Springdale’s Dean's Trail Phase IIIB. The program aims to reduce fatalities and severe injuries on both rural and urban roads.
