This initiative addresses rising onion costs, currently over Rs 60 per kg, by utilizing mobile vans and NCCF retail shops. The National Cooperative Consumers Federation has sourced a buffer stock from farmers in Maharashtra and Madhya Pradesh, aiming to stabilize supplies and protect consumers from high prices.
