Goldman Sachs analysts predict a 5-8% decline in S&P 500 company earnings due to Harris' corporate tax increase plans.

Goldman Sachs analysts project that U.S. Vice President Kamala Harris' plan to raise the corporate tax rate from 21% to 28% could reduce S&P 500 company earnings by about 5%. Additional taxes on foreign income and an increased alternative minimum tax could cut earnings by up to 8%. Conversely, President Trump's proposal to lower the corporate tax rate to 15% could increase S&P 500 earnings by approximately 4%.
