York County SPCA temporarily closes dog kennels due to parvovirus outbreak in rescued dogs.
The York County SPCA in Pennsylvania has temporarily closed its dog kennels after two dogs tested positive for parvovirus, which is highly contagious among canines. The affected dogs were rescued from a hoarding situation. The closure will last until at least September 17 to ensure safety. While dog browsing is suspended, cat and small animal viewing continues, and adoption inquiries can be made via scheduled appointments. Parvovirus does not affect humans.
