Suspended SA judge Desmond Nair's corruption case postponed until 26 September; denied request to drop charges over home security upgrades.

Desmond Nair, a suspended South African judge, has had his corruption case postponed until September 26 to allow his attorney to review the National Director of Public Prosecutions' response to his request for the charges to be dropped. Nair is accused of accepting R200,000 in security upgrades for his home from African Global Operations (formerly Bosasa). The prosecution will move forward, as his request was denied.
