South Korean and New Zealand leaders agree to strengthen security cooperation against North Korea's military ties with Russia.

During a summit in Seoul, South Korean President Yoon Suk Yeol and New Zealand Prime Minister Christopher Luxon agreed to enhance security cooperation in response to North Korea's military ties with Russia. They condemned North Korea's nuclear ambitions and discussed elevating their relationship to a "comprehensive strategic partnership." The leaders also reviewed trade growth since their 2015 free trade agreement and committed to launching an economic security dialogue.
